What better way to get a jump start on Spring & Summer seasons than your very own Mercedes Benz convertible (2006 SLK350 Roadster)! This is the ultimate "getaway" and "fun" car...and we've enjoyed it plenty! Now its time to pass it on to another so they can also experience the same.

268 Horsepower, 17" 10-Spoke Alloy Wheels...the works! The car is fully loaded with several options (7-Speed automatic transmission, SIRIUS Satellite, 6-CD disc changer, iPOD player, power front seats, power adjustable steering column, auto-dimming mirrors, neck-level heating and heated seats, dual automatic climate control, rain sensing wipes, IR remote roof automation (you can open the roof remotely w/ car key), ambient lighting package, and much more!), has 34,268 miles (approx. 8500 miles per year), well maintained - serviced only by the MB dealership, and has had only one-owner (non-smoker) who didn't allow eating in the car. The retail value for this vehicle with all its optional equipment is between $29,600 - $31,500 and we want more than trade-in...so make us your best offer! I've also attached a few pictures for your review.

Help spread the word...feel free to share this with family, friends and neighbors! Happy shopping!

1985 Merecedes-Benz convertible/roadster with hard top and soft top was purchased from its original owner in 2004. It fits 4-5 people because this model has a back seat. Runs, drives, and handles well. The engine fires right up and idles smoothly. The car has plenty of power while accelerating. It recieved a new coat of red paint around 2005. To my knowlege, it has never been involved in a wreck or accident. The automatic transmission shifts through all of its gears with no issues.

The body of this sporty convertible is very straight. There is a slight fist-size area on the hood that shows minor damage, but this could be easily repaired. It has a 6-disc CD changer in the trunk with 1-disc insertion in radio area at dash (removable radio front). The has its original removable red hard top with convertible black soft top.

The original interior is tan leather and is in good condition for its age. Glass throughout the car is free of cracks and all windows work properly. All of the chrome and stainless trim is original and in good condition. The car retains its original 15-hole light alloy rims. The tires are in good condition and two new ones were installed in July 2007. The car's lights and electrical accessories are currently in working order. It has a heat-insulated glass windshield, front folding armrest, electonically adjustable mirrors, and seat heater for left/right front seats.

The car has 8 cyl. engine, automatic transmission, anti-lock brakes, alloy rims, 102,000 miles, and current inspection sticker.

Overall, this car is in good condition for its age and originality.

The vehicle was made in Germany and imported to the U.S, therefore it has a German VIN number, which is WDB1070451A0265513. A clear Texas title is on hand and the car is free of liens or back fees.

The vehicle is sold AS-IS with no warranty intended or implied by the Seller.

Have to sell my german monster car! This car is sweet, previous owner installed brand new engine last year, just got about $1200 worth of new seals and gaskets and tweaking done. Has staggered 7.5 and 8.5 rims front and rear, new tires 245 on front and 275 on back. Need to sell to pay tuition. Car needs minor details,eg, driver seatbelt does not retract, the hydraulic cylinder on rt side for soft top leaks which is a $100 fix if that, odometer stopped working about a month ago, has 123k miles on it, and keyless entry doesnt work, tear in drivers seat also, other than that great condition car and is really really fast, sounds like a big block muscle car with the flowmasters on it and has MSD ignition. Need to sell asap, 469-348-6969, might consider a trade if you have a late model sport or luxury car. This car is a classic and will be fun for years to come, somewhat negotiable on price, cash talks, need to sell by saturday. Here is a link on youtube of what it sounds like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6oNyFJRTO4 Please call 469-348-6969 tags: roadster, jaguar, lexus, convertible, bmw, audi, volkswagen, luxury, sport

2005 convertible mazda mx-5. Excellent condition, only selling because our family size grew and had to make the inevitable switch to a mini-van. It has never been in an accident and there are no leaks or mechanical issues. Wear is normal for a 5 year old vehicle. 43,xxx miles. I am the original owner, and thanks to the policy of our homeowners association, I'm happy to say the vehicle has been garage kept up until the time of sale (van is in the garage now).

This car is a lot of fun to drive and putting the top down is so simple that you don't even need instructions. The automatic transmission makes the car available for everyone in your house. Put the shifter in gear like any other automatic for the casual driver. Or slide the shifter to the left for a manual feel - clicking the stick and back and forth or using the Ferrari like paddle shifters on the wheel (see pic).

This car is ready to be an everyday or Sunday driver for a happy home. Shoot me an email with your telephone number to set up a meeting. Please no scammers, tire kickers, or monthly pmt requests. I have another car, so probably no trades. But you're welcome to try and tempt me with an old corvette or a muscle project. If you're thinking about a Mercedes slk, Porsche boxster, honda s2000, mini cooper, Volkswagen beetle, or any other convertible... give some thought to this mx 5... it may be everything you're looking for. Happy hunting.

I am the original owner, and thanks to the policy of our homeowners association, I’m happy to say the vehicle has been garage kept up until the time of sale (van is in the garage now).

This car is a lot of fun to drive and putting the top down is so simple that you don’t even need instructions. The automatic transmission makes the car available for everyone in your house. Put the shifter in gear like any other automatic for the casual driver. Or slide the shifter to the left for a manual feel – clicking the stick and back and forth or using the Ferrari like paddle shifters on the wheel (see pic).

This car is ready to be an everyday or Sunday driver for a happy home. Shoot me an email with your telephone number to set up a meeting. Please no scammers, tire kickers, or monthly pmt requests. I have another car, so probably no trades. But you’re welcome to try and tempt me with an old corvette or a muscle project. If you’re thinking about a Mercedes slk, Porsche boxster, honda s2000, mini cooper, Volkswagen beetle, or any other convertible… give some thought to this mx 5… it may be everything you’re looking for. Happy hunting.

This is the classic R107 MB roadster that has been totally rebuilt to like new . It has all that you need : pw, ps, a/c, and a 5 speed manual transmission. What else do you need to cruise the Hill Country this Spring? The Euro 107 280 SL is one of the best-kept secrets in the 107 SL market. Just like the previous generation 113 280 SL the 107 280 SL carries the legendary 280 SL name/badge on its trunk lid. Both 280 SL names were derived from their straight 6 cylinder engine's with a 2.8 liter displacement. The previous generation 113 280 SL's M130 engine was a great engine but could offer only a single overhead cam shaft and mechanical fuel injection. The 107 280 SL was not only visually redesigned but it was also blessed with the new generation high tech M110 engine. The now legendary 2.8 Liter dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) M110 6 cylinder engine quickly earned itself a indestructible reputation. This high tech engine was mainly developed for the European market where gasoline prices used to be up to 3 times as much as in the U.S. The BOSCH K-Jetronic fuel injected 2.8 Liter power plant is very special, indeed! It was Mercedes’ first post-war 'high-tech' engine: In comparison even its successor, the 300E engine, first introduced in the 1986 models, can only offer a single camshaft. Rated at 185 HP the 107 280 SL 6 cylinder engine has 35 more horses than a comparable V-8 powered 1981 to 1985 US 107 380 SL. From 1974 till 1985 the only 6 cylinder 107 SLs available were the Euro cars which were never officially sold in the US. The quite capable 6 cylinder engine performs so well it puts the “SPORT” back in the “SL” “Sport Leicht/Sport Light” name. Even for Mercedes’ standards this particular SL was well ahead of its time. The cars power to weight ratio and the engine and transmission are perfectly balanced. The engine revs and pulls beautifully through all four automatic gears. Unlike the previous generation SLs 3 speed transmission the 107 280 SLs transmission shifts smoothly and precisely giving the car a sporty yet modern and luxurious feel. Unlike the heavier and bigger displacement V-8 SL "Cruiser" like driving characteristics the 107 280 SL revs just like the previous generation 1968 – 1971 280 SL and is even more flexible and friendly in its power delivery. What’s even more impressive, it does all that with much lower fuel consumption than the previous generation SLs and the V-8 powered 107 SLs making it even more desirable with today’s record high gas prices. The better performance and gas mileage can not only be accredited to the Dual over head camshafts and the more modern electronic Bosch fuel injection, but also to a new 4 speed automatic transmission. The 4 speed automatic transmission allows the 107 280 SL to cruise at highway speeds at much lower RPM than the previous SLs which had only a 3 speed transmissions. Besides saving gas, the lower RPM added more riding comfort due to less engine noise and more importantly it added to the engines longevity. Other benefits of the smaller and lighter 6 cylinder engine are: Better handling versus the V-8 cars due to better weight distribution with the lighter engine, less cramped engine compartment which allows for quicker and easier access to all components resulting in easier and subsequently cheaper maintenance and servicing. Parts and accessories are easily obtainable from your local Mercedes dealer or Import Part dealer since the same engine is used in many 1974 - 1985 US 280 series coupes, wagons and sedans. Yes, cars like the 280 Sedan , 280 SE and 280 CE and many other US and European cars like the 280TE Wagon and even the 4x4 280 GE Gelaendewagen had the same M110 engine. The US M110 engines had lower compression/performance due to emission restrictions and some had a different intake and injection system or carburetors. Otherwise they were pretty much the same. Besides the unique engine options and unlike any US 107 SL, the 107 280 SL could also be ordered with a manual 4speed transmission until 1980 and with an optional 5 speed transmission from 1981 to 1985.These cars are also extremely rare and desirable as the manual transmissions added even more agility and performance and to the 107 280 SL Fun Factor. In addition and again unlike the US cars the Euro cars could be ordered in various combinations of exterior and interior colors and materials which even included cloth materials. Further more the euro cars could be ordered with or without any combination of accessories and options like heated seats and dual manual heater and A/C controls which were not available on the US cars. As already mentioned these cars were not officially imported into the US by Mercedes so if you wanted to get one you had to privately import it or purchase it from a "Grey Market" Dealer. In addition, because of the strong Dollar and better model variety in Germany through out the 80ies many people opted to fly to Europe in order to take delivery of their Mercedes directly from the factory trough the so called "European Delivery Program" Due to the extremely strong US Dollar exchange rate in the 80’s not only were there substantial savings involved but as in this case one could pick up and bring back a unique Euro style and power plant optioned 280 SL which was not available for sale by US Mercedes dealers. Aesthetically the “Euro” versions were much more pleasing to the eye as well. All 1972 through 1989 type Euro 107 SLs incorporate the beautiful classic chrome bumper lines every one is looking for. For the US market only the 1972 and 1973 107 350/450 SL had the chrome bumpers but even those had small bumperettes/extensions which still brake up the clean original Euro bumper lines. From 1974 on in the US market manufacturers were forced to disfigure their cars with huge truck like bumpers to meet ridiculously strict bumper regulations in comparison to the rest of the world. Please don’t get me wrong, I think all SLs are beautiful and even though the big US bumpers are very functional and safe, I definitely would prefer the smaller chrome bumper look. Given the better looks and more engine and transmission options over the US cars and the substantial savings, it is not surprising how numerous gray market/private imports came into this country. Unlike many “gray market” car rumors the rare Euro SLs for obvious reasons actually enjoy a higher resale value than comparable US SLs. Some Classic car value guides list the Euro cars values at up to 40% higher than comparable US 107 SL’s. If you hear any strange “gray market” stories they are usually unfounded. If the car was properly converted and has the proper EPA and DOT clearance I would prefer a Euro German, Italian or British car over a US delivery car anytime. Bear in mind that the Euro version is the way Mercedes originally intended for their cars to look and perform under grueling high-speed Autobahn conditions. Since the 107 280 SL was never officially imported to the US and since it took quite some effort to ship and legally import and register a Euro car like this, the Euro 107 280 SL is amongst the rarest of all 1972 through 1989 107 SLs. The 107 SL body style was Mercedes' longest production run and in those 17 years there were a total of 237.286 type 107 SLs built. Out of those there were only about 20.000 107 280SLs built from 1974 to 1985 mostly for the European market. That’s less than 10% of the total 107 production. Out of those there were only a few hundred privately imported into the US since they were never officially sold in the US. As a comparison there were 53.200 US 380SLs built from 1981 through 1985, 66,298 US 450sl from 1973 to 1980 and 49.641 US 560SLs from 1986 through 1989 most of which were sold in the US. As you probably already know the previous generation 113 Pagoda 280 SL’s have skyrocketed in price bringing over $100.000 at some of the high end auctions. As a result the prices of some rare or very good low mile condition 107 SLs have been climbing up accordingly. No matter if you are new to classic cars or if you already own a previous generation 113 280SL, a 107 280SL would be wonderful way to start a collection or it would be a great addition to your existing collection. Thanks for looking...

Both 280 SL names were derived from their straight 6 cylinder engine’s with a 2.8 liter displacement. The previous generation 113 280 SL’s M130 engine was a great engine but could offer only a single overhead cam shaft and mechanical fuel injection. It was Mercedes’ first post-war ‘high-tech’ engine: In comparison even its successor, the 300E engine, first introduced in the 1986 models, can only offer a single camshaft. Unlike the heavier and bigger displacement V-8 SL “Cruiser” like driving characteristics the 107 280 SL revs just like the previous generation 1968 – 1971 280 SL and is even more flexible and friendly in its power delivery. Parts and accessories are easily obtainable from your local Mercedes dealer or Import Part dealer since the same engine is used in many 1974 – 1985 US 280 series coupes, wagons and sedans. Yes, cars like the 280 Sedan , 280 SE and 280 CE and many other US and European cars like the 280TE Wagon and even the 4×4 280 GE Gelaendewagen had the same M110 engine. As already mentioned these cars were not officially imported into the US by Mercedes so if you wanted to get one you had to privately import it or purchase it from a “Grey Market” Dealer. In addition, because of the strong Dollar and better model variety in Germany through out the 80ies many people opted to fly to Europe in order to take delivery of their Mercedes directly from the factory trough the so called “European Delivery Program” Due to the extremely strong US Dollar exchange rate in the 80’s not only were there substantial savings involved but as in this case one could pick up and bring back a unique Euro style and power plant optioned 280 SL which was not available for sale by US Mercedes dealers.
